Women artists poised to dominate MTV Europe Music Awards

The 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards are set to take place in Manchester, the United Kingdom, with female artists such as Taylor Swift, Charli XCX, and Billie Eilish expected to dominate the event. The ceremony will be held at the new Co-op Live venue in Manchester, with British singer Rita Ora hosting the awards, making it the seventh time the event has been held in Britain. Taylor Swift leads the nominations with seven categories following the release of her 11th album “The Tortured Poets Department.”

Other female artists with multiple nominations include Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, and Beyonce, among others. The Best Artist category features a mix of male and female artists from various genres, with Post Malone and Raye also in contention.
