University Medical City introduces advanced hearing care in Oman

The Ear Diseases and Surgery Team at the University Medical City in Muscat has successfully launched the Cochlear Implant and Bone Hearing Aids Program. This program aims to provide advanced therapeutic services to improve the quality of life for patients suffering from hearing loss. The team performed four cochlear implant surgeries and implanted five bone hearing aids as part of the program. Prior to the launch of the program, there was intensive preparation and cooperation between various healthcare professionals including audiologists, balance specialists, speech therapists, and teams from different departments such as radiology and anesthesia.

The Ear Diseases and Surgery Team at the University Medical City in Muscat is dedicated to enhancing the quality of services provided to the community.
