Muscat Art, in partnership with the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre, opened its third edition under the patronage of Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion. The event, open daily until October 31st, features over 250 local and international artists from 10 countries. With 1500 pieces of art on display, visitors can expect a diverse range of paintings and sculptures and a chance to connect with the artists and participate in workshops.

The event is supported by local artists Alia Al Farsi and Hassan Meer, who have helped highlight emerging and established talent. Bella Luna Productions will sponsor the event and provide coverage. Muscat Art Walls, a new initiative, invites local artists to showcase their work at the OCEC on a long-term basis to promote local talent to international audiences. The event aims to enhance cultural awareness and celebrate the importance of fine arts through workshops and community activities.

Said bin Sultan Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Youth for Culture, emphasized the significance of Muscat Art in the cultural calendar of Oman. Eng. Said Al Shanfari, CEO of the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, highlighted the event’s role in uniting communities, showcasing Omani culture, and embracing artistic trends. The exhibition aims to raise cultural awareness, preserve fine arts heritage, and gain regional recognition as a major art gathering in the region.

Muscat Art has grown in popularity over the years, attracting more exhibitors and visitors. This year’s edition will feature lectures, workshops, sculpture workshops, live music, and entertainment. It plays a significant role in Oman’s cultural scene by celebrating the country’s living talents. For more information, visitors can visit the Muscat Art website or dedicated Instagram page to stay updated on the event’s schedule and activities.
