Turkey celebrates 101st Republic Day in Bahrain with a warm farewell for Ambassador Esin Çakıl

The 101st anniversary of the Proclamation of the Republic of Türkiye was celebrated at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel with a grand event attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Bahrain, Her Excellency Esin Çakıl. It was a significant moment as it marked the Ambassador’s final event before concluding her diplomatic mission in the Kingdom. The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and His Excellency Lieutenant General Doctor Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, represented the Bahraini government at the event.

Ambassador Çakıl started the celebration with an opening address where she highlighted the importance of an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, emphasizing Türkiye’s continuous call for peace in the region. Her remarks reflected the ongoing challenges in the Middle East and stressed the need for humanitarian efforts. The event was an opportunity to bring attention to these pressing issues and showcase the commitment of Türkiye to promoting peace and stability in the region.

The evening concluded with a traditional cake-cutting ceremony, where all the dignitaries, including Bahraini officials and members of the diplomatic community, took part.
