Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, praised the organisers of the UAE’s first Holy Quran TV channel. In an interview with Direct Line, he emphasized the importance of reciters choosing appropriate readings and observing the rules of stopping and starting to maintain the meanings of the verses. The Sheikh also provided guidance for reciters, stating that if a reciter stops before completing a verse, they must go back two words before and resume reading until the completion of the verse. It is essential to pay attention to exceptions, additions, and other factors when reading the Holy Quran to ensure clarity and meaning.
