Ooredoo, Qatar’s leading telecom provider, recently hosted a “Recycling Workshop for Greener Future” in partnership with Seashore Group at their headquarters in Doha, Qatar. The event aimed to engage employees and their families in sustainable practices, promoting environmental stewardship and inspiring a commitment to greener living. Participants learned about recycling and innovative ways to repurpose everyday items, turning waste into useful resources. The workshop provided a hands-on experience in recycling and sustainability, encouraging participants to think critically about the global impact of their actions.

Rwdah Ahmed Al-Subaiey, Senior Director of Enterprise PMO, Process & Sustainability at Ooredoo Qatar, highlighted the company’s commitment to sustainability as an essential guiding principle. He emphasized the importance of incorporating sustainability into operations to shape a greener vision for the future in Qatar. Salem Al Mohannadi, CEO of Seashore Group, stressed the significance of their partnership with Ooredoo in enhancing environmental awareness and promoting a culture of recycling and sustainability in the community. The workshop aimed to inspire individuals to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives and work towards a more conscious and responsible society.

Sabah Rabiah Al Kuwari, Director of PR, Sponsorship at Ooredoo Qatar, emphasized the event’s role in promoting sustainability within the community. She stated that engaging employees and their families in sustainable practices is crucial for the well-being of the planet and future generations. The partnership with Seashore Group aligns with Ooredoo’s broader sustainability goals under Qatar National Vision 2030. The event reflects Ooredoo’s continuous efforts to integrate sustainability into its corporate culture, showcasing the company’s leadership in promoting green practices within the community.
