Oman Air is committed to promoting Khareef Dhofar and supporting national interests by implementing strategic measures to boost connectivity to Salalah. During peak times, the airline is operating 11 flights per day and has upgraded a number of flights to wide-body aircraft, adding nearly 4,500 seats over the season. In July, Oman Air flew almost 50,000 guests into Salalah, with over 70% using fixed national fare tickets. The Chief Commercial Officer, Mike Rutter, expressed the importance of supporting Salalah as a key tourism destination and offering consistent and transparent pricing to make travel affordable for Omani citizens.

The fixed national fare for flights between Muscat and Salalah is priced at OMR 54 during the khareef season and OMR 64 for the rest of the year. This fare is exclusively available through Oman Air’s website and mobile app, with no limit on the allocation of Omani national fares. However, seats are selling fast and guests are advised to book in advance to secure their flights. Affordable fares are also offered for non-Omanis, allowing more people to explore the beauty of Oman without the burden of fluctuating prices.
