Ministry of Industry in Saudi Arabia Hosts “Saudi Night” in Las Vegas, Highlighting Potential Mining Opportunities

The Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources recently hosted the “Saudi Night” event in Las Vegas, aiming to showcase Saudi Arabia’s rich heritage, ambitious development projects, and programs of Saudi Vision 2030. The event was attended by top officials, including Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef and Deputy Minister Khalid Almudaifer, along with American and international investors. Alkhorayef emphasized that Vision 2030 aims to achieve a comprehensive economic transformation by diversifying income sources beyond oil, attracting investments, promoting sustainable growth, and improving the quality of life for citizens. He also highlighted the industry and mining sectors as key pillars supporting the Kingdom’s economic transformation through optimal utilization of natural resources and fostering innovation.

The minister pointed out that Saudi Arabia’s mining sector offers competitive advantages, making it a promising sector for both foreign and domestic investors. These advantages include a stimulating investment environment, abundant mineral resources, special economic zones, facilitated licensing procedures, and a package of enablers and incentives for investors provided by the industry and mineral system. The event also featured presentations by Saudi students on products and handicrafts reflecting the authenticity and heritage of all regions of Saudi Arabia, as well as information about the key programs of Saudi Vision 2030.

In his speech at the event, Alkhorayef highlighted the Kingdom’s commitment to achieving a comprehensive developmental renaissance centered around Vision 2030. This vision aims to build a diversified and sustainable economy with the private sector as a key partner in achieving these goals. He emphasized the importance of the industry and mining sectors in supporting Saudi Arabia’s economic transformation through innovation, enhanced investment environment, and optimal utilization of natural resources. The event aimed to promote promising mining investment opportunities in the Kingdom and attract both foreign and domestic investors to contribute to building a diversified and sustainable economy.

The “Saudi Night” event, held on the sidelines of Saudi Arabia’s participation in MINExpo International 2024 Las Vegas, served as a platform to showcase Saudi Arabia’s rich heritage, history, and ambitious development projects. The event featured presentations by Saudi students highlighting the authenticity and heritage of all regions of Saudi Arabia, as well as information about the key programs of Saudi Vision 2030. The event was attended by Saudi officials, American and international investors, and aimed to promote the Kingdom’s mining sector as a promising investment opportunity through competitive advantages, a stimulating investment environment, and incentives for investors.
