The UAE’s Met department has predicted another rainy afternoon in some parts of the country today, with showers expected to continue until Sunday. The National Centre Meteorology (NCM) has identified areas in the eastern and southern parts of the Emirates as likely to experience some drizzle. On Friday afternoon, ice pellets accompanied the rainy conditions, and there is a possibility of hailstones in some areas today. Despite this, most parts of the country will have clear to partly cloudy skies, with light to moderate winds ranging from 15 to 30kmph, potentially turning brisk at 40kmph and causing dusty conditions. Temperatures may soar to 47 degrees Celsius in parts of Abu Dhabi and 42 degrees Celsius in Dubai, while waves in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are expected to be light.

To stay informed on the latest news, individuals can follow KT on WhatsApp Channels for updates on the weather conditions and any other important information. It is essential to remain updated on weather forecasts, especially during the rainy season, to plan one’s activities accordingly and stay safe in case of any adverse weather conditions. With the possibility of hailstones and dusty conditions, it is crucial to take necessary precautions and be prepared for any sudden changes in the weather. Additionally, being aware of the expected temperatures can help individuals stay cool and hydrated, particularly in regions where temperatures are expected to be high.

The rainy conditions expected in some parts of the UAE highlight the importance of being prepared for such weather events. Drivers should exercise caution on the roads, as wet conditions can lead to slippery surfaces and reduced visibility. Road users are advised to drive at a safe speed, maintain a safe distance from other vehicles, and use their headlights in case of low visibility. Pedestrians should also be mindful of their surroundings and take necessary precautions while walking in rainy weather to avoid accidents. By being prepared and following safety guidelines, individuals can navigate through the rainy conditions safely.

In addition to the potential for rain, the forecasted winds and dusty conditions should also be taken into account. Dust storms can reduce visibility and create hazardous driving conditions. It is advisable to secure loose objects outdoors and stay indoors if possible during windy and dusty weather. People with respiratory issues should take extra precautions, such as wearing masks or staying indoors with windows closed to prevent inhaling dust particles. By staying informed about the expected weather conditions and taking appropriate measures, individuals can protect themselves and their property from any potential risks associated with the changing weather patterns.

As temperatures rise in some parts of the country, it is essential to take precautions to prevent heat-related illnesses. Staying hydrated, wearing light clothing, and avoiding prolonged exposure to the sun can help individuals stay cool and prevent heat exhaustion or heatstroke. It is also important to check on vulnerable individuals, such as the elderly or young children, during hot weather to ensure their well-being. By following these simple measures, individuals can stay safe and healthy during the summer months. Additionally, checking the weather forecast regularly can help people plan their outdoor activities accordingly, choosing cooler times of the day to engage in physical activities and avoid the peak heat hours.

In conclusion, the fluctuating weather conditions in the UAE underscore the importance of staying informed and prepared for any changes in the weather. By following updates from reliable sources such as the UAE’s Met department and taking necessary precautions, individuals can navigate through rainy, windy, and hot conditions safely. Whether it’s driving in wet weather, protecting oneself from dust storms, or preventing heat-related illnesses, being aware of the expected weather conditions can help individuals stay safe and reduce the risk of weather-related incidents. By staying proactive and following safety guidelines, individuals can enjoy the diverse weather patterns in the UAE while ensuring their well-being and that of others around them.
