Light rains were reported in the eastern parts of the UAE on August 20, with scattered rainfall occurring in various areas along the country’s eastern coast. The National Centre of Meteorology had predicted the light rains due to the presence of low clouds in the region. Residents were advised to stay updated with the latest news and weather updates, as spells of rainfall were expected to continue over the coming days.

A video posted by Storm Centre showcased heavy drizzles and light rains in the country’s eastern coast on the same day. While the eastern coast experienced light rains, most residents in the UAE could expect a partly cloudy day. The weather was forecasted to be cloudy at times over some southern and eastern areas. On the previous day, light rains were also scattered over the eastern parts of the country, specifically in Fujairah.

Temperatures on August 20 were projected to reach up to 47ºC in the internal areas, while dropping to as low as 26ºC in the mountains. Light to moderate winds, occasionally freshening, were expected to blow in the country, potentially causing dust and sandstorms in the northern and eastern regions. Additionally, sea conditions were anticipated to be slight to moderate, becoming rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.

With the ongoing unpredictable weather patterns in the region, it is important for residents to stay informed and prepared for sudden changes in weather conditions. Following weather updates from reliable sources like Storm Centre and the National Centre of Meteorology can help individuals plan their daily activities accordingly. As light rains and cloudy weather persist in some areas, it is advisable to take necessary precautions and stay indoors during heavy rainfall to ensure safety.

As the UAE experiences varying temperatures and weather conditions, it is crucial for individuals to monitor their health and well-being during extreme weather events. Staying hydrated, wearing appropriate clothing, and avoiding prolonged exposure to the sun are important measures to take during hot weather. Additionally, preparing for possible sandstorms and strong winds by securing loose objects outdoors can help prevent accidents and property damage. By staying alert and following recommended safety guidelines, residents can navigate through changing weather conditions with ease.

In conclusion, the UAE’s eastern coast saw scattered rainfall on August 20, with light rains and partly cloudy weather predicted for the coming days. As temperatures fluctuate, residents should pay attention to weather forecasts and take necessary precautions to stay safe. With the possibility of dust storms and rough sea conditions, it is vital to stay informed and prepared for any weather-related challenges. By following expert advice and staying updated on weather developments, individuals can safeguard themselves and their surroundings from potential weather hazards.
