The MMA world is gearing up for an exciting showdown in Abu Dhabi as UFC Fight Night approaches at the Etihad Arena on Saturday. The main event will feature American fighter Cory Sandhagen against the undefeated Umar Nurmagomedov, who boasts a 17-0 record and is making his second appearance in the UAE.

Nurmagomedov, who previously won Performance of the Night against Sergey Morozov in Abu Dhabi, expressed his excitement about returning to the city and fighting in front of a supportive crowd once again. He sees this fight as a crucial step towards a potential title shot and is determined to come out victorious.

Sandhagen, returning to Abu Dhabi for the third time, is ready to showcase his skills and put on a show for the UAE audience. The Colorado native hopes to demonstrate other elements of his game beyond striking and views this fight as his chance to secure a title shot if he emerges victorious.

The co-main event will feature a middleweight showdown between Shara Magomedov and Michał Oleksiejczuk, who is determined to break his losing streak. Oleksiejczuk is focused on knocking out his opponent while Magomedov, coming off a win at UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi, is prepared for an exciting fight and is ready for any outcome.

As fans eagerly anticipate the fight night in Abu Dhabi, the event promises to deliver thrilling matchups and high-stakes battles in the cage. With top fighters from around the world competing, the UFC Fight Night in Abu Dhabi is set to be a night of intense action and excitement for MMA enthusiasts worldwide.
