The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) recently issued a warning to motorists in the UAE regarding poor visibility caused by fog formation on Tuesday morning. A red alert was sent out by the weather department, notifying residents of a deterioration in horizontal visibility until 8:30 in the morning. Abu Dhabi Police also urged motorists to exercise caution due to reduced visibility during the fog, advising drivers to follow changing speed limits displayed on electronic information boards.

On Monday, heavy rain and some hail were reported in Wadi Hilo in Sharjah, with moderate rainfall on the Kalba Shokah Road in the Eastern Region and light rain in areas around Shawka-Al Muinai Road in Ras Al Kaimah. However, unlike the rainy conditions experienced in some parts of the country the previous day, most residents can expect a fair and partly cloudy day today. Temperatures are expected to vary, ranging from up to 48ºC in internal areas to as low as 25ºC in the mountains.

Humid conditions are anticipated at night and will continue until Wednesday morning, with a chance of fog or mist formation in some areas, particularly coastal areas. Light to moderate winds, freshening at times, are expected to blow throughout the country. The sea is forecasted to be slight in both the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.

As the day progresses, residents should stay up to date with the latest news and weather warnings. Following KT on WhatsApp Channels can provide valuable information and updates on changing conditions. It is imperative for motorists to heed the warnings and exercise caution while driving in poor visibility conditions to ensure their safety and the safety of others on the road. By staying informed and taking necessary precautions, residents can navigate through the foggy conditions safely.
