UAE Weather: Light Rain in Some Areas; Yellow Dust Alert for Reduced Visibility Issued

The National Centre of Meteorology has forecasted dusty and partly cloudy to cloudy weather over some eastern and southern areas, with low clouds expected to appear over the eastern coast by morning. Light rains were reported in some areas of the eastern coast during the early hours of the morning. As a precaution, the met issued a yellow alert for dust in some areas, advising residents to be cautious during outdoor activities. The Abu Dhabi police have also urged drivers to be careful due to reduced visibility during high winds and dust, warning against distractions like taking photos and videos of the dust.

Light to moderate winds are anticipated, fresh to strong at times, leading to blowing dust and sand, particularly towards north and eastward regions of the country. The sea conditions are expected to be rough to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate at times in the Oman Sea. Temperature-wise, mountainous areas are forecasted to reach a low of 22°C, while internal areas may see highs of up to 43°C. Humidity levels are predicted to rise to a maximum of 80 per cent.
