The National Centre of Meteorology has forecast fair to partly cloudy weather in the UAE, with light to moderate winds blowing that may cause blowing dust during the day. There is also a chance of fog or mist formation in some Western areas. The Met Department has issued a red and yellow alert for fog, warning of deteriorating horizontal visibility. Temperature highs could reach up to 46ºC in the country, with Abu Dhabi expected to reach 44ºC and Dubai 42ºC. However, lows could drop to 28ºC in Abu Dhabi, 29ºC in Dubai, and 24ºC in internal areas.

Humidity is expected to increase by night and Saturday morning, with a possibility of fog or mist formation in coastal and Western areas. The humidity levels will range from 20 to 90 per cent in Abu Dhabi and 15 to 80 per cent in Dubai. At sea, conditions will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea. Residents are advised to take precautions against the potential hazards of fog and changing weather conditions while navigating the roads.

With the fluctuating temperatures and humidity levels, it is essential for residents to stay informed about the weather forecast and take necessary precautions to stay safe and healthy. The varying weather conditions call for extra care while driving, especially in areas prone to fog formation. Maintaining visibility and adhering to speed limits are crucial to ensure road safety during such weather conditions.

As the temperatures rise during the day, it is important to stay hydrated and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun to prevent heat-related illnesses. Wearing light, breathable clothing and using sunscreen can help in protecting the skin from the harsh UV rays. It is advisable to seek shade or stay indoors during the peak hours of the day to avoid heat exhaustion or heatstroke.

The Met Department’s alerts and warnings serve as a reminder for residents to stay vigilant and take necessary precautions when venturing out in unpredictable weather conditions. By staying informed and following safety guidelines, individuals can effectively navigate through the changing weather patterns and minimize the potential risks associated with extreme temperatures and humidity levels.

Overall, the forecast for the UAE indicates a mix of fair to partly cloudy weather with fluctuating temperatures and humidity levels. Residents are advised to stay prepared, stay hydrated, and exercise caution while outdoors to stay safe and healthy during the varying weather conditions. By following safety guidelines and staying informed, individuals can mitigate risks associated with fog formation and extreme weather conditions.
