Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned the Israeli parliament Knesset’s decision to ban UNRWA’s humanitarian activities in the occupied Palestinian territories. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its condemnation in the strongest terms, calling it a flagrant violation of international law and the rules of international legitimacy. The Saudi Press Agency reported that the ministry denounced the adoption of two draft laws aimed at banning UNRWA’s activities, stating that it exacerbates the already dire humanitarian crisis facing the Palestinian people.

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the Israeli occupation authorities have been continuously and systematically targeting UN agencies and relief organizations, which further contributes to the crimes of ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people. The ministry stated that these actions are aimed at erasing the Palestinian identity and undermining efforts towards achieving comprehensive and just peace in the region. Saudi Arabia reiterated its support and solidarity with UNRWA in its humanitarian mission to provide relief to Palestinian refugees, emphasizing the agency’s importance as a result of Security Council Resolution 194 of 1948.

The Saudi government expressed its unwavering support for UNRWA and its mission to assist Palestinian refugees in all areas. The agency plays a crucial role in providing relief to those in need and upholding the right of return for Palestinian refugees, as outlined in Security Council Resolution 194 of 1948. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated its commitment to standing by UNRWA and ensuring that the agency can continue its humanitarian work in the occupied Palestinian territories, despite the challenges posed by the Israeli parliament’s recent decisions.

In light of the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the occupied Palestinian territories, Saudi Arabia called on the international community to take immediate action to address the plight of the Palestinian people. The Saudi government emphasized the importance of upholding international law and ensuring the protection and support of UN agencies and relief organizations operating in the region. Saudi Arabia urged the international community to condemn the Israeli parliament’s actions and work towards a peaceful resolution to the conflict, based on justice and respect for human rights.

Saudi Arabia’s condemnation of the Israeli parliament’s decision reflects the kingdom’s commitment to supporting the rights of the Palestinian people and advocating for justice and peace in the region. The Saudi government reiterated its rejection of any measures that undermine the efforts of UN agencies and relief organizations to provide assistance to those in need, particularly Palestinian refugees. Saudi Arabia emphasized the importance of upholding international law and respecting the rights of all individuals, regardless of their nationality or background, in order to achieve a sustainable and just peace in the Middle East.

In conclusion, Saudi Arabia’s strong denunciation of the Israeli parliament’s banning of UNRWA’s activities in the occupied Palestinian territories highlights the kingdom’s commitment to humanitarian principles and international law. The Saudi government reiterated its support for UNRWA and its mission to provide assistance to Palestinian refugees, emphasizing the agency’s crucial role in upholding the rights of those in need.
