The Second International Dates and Honey Exhibition begins

The second edition of the “International Dates and Honey Exhibition” began in Muscat, Oman at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre. The exhibition aims to showcase the latest products in the dates and honey industry, expand commercial opportunities, and educate participants about the quality of dates and honey products available in Oman. Over 35 countries are participating in the week-long event, which will conclude on 26 October. The opening ceremony was presided over by Dr. Saud Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources.

The exhibition features 167 local companies and 71 international companies specializing in honey and date production, as well as packaging and food processing companies. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the latest technology applications in the industry, quality control systems utilized by commercial companies, and potential investment opportunities. The event also aims to strengthen communication between GCC states and other Arab nations, improve international relations, enhance production methods, tap into global expertise, and raise awareness about the economic importance of dates and honey products.

One of the main objectives of the exhibition is to promote international cooperation and exchange of knowledge in the dates and honey industry. By bringing together companies and experts from various countries, the event creates a platform for collaboration, innovation, and sharing best practices.
