The President of the UAE meets with the Foreign Minister of Kuwait

President Sheikh Mohamed met with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya in Abu Dhabi to discuss the close ties between the two countries and ways to enhance cooperation. During the meeting, the Kuwaiti Minister conveyed greetings from the Emir of Kuwait and wished for progress and prosperity for the UAE. The UAE President reciprocated by sending his best wishes to the Emir and expressed hopes for further development in Kuwait.

The meeting focused on strengthening Gulf cooperation and supporting initiatives that benefit the GCC countries and their people. Both sides emphasized the importance of enhancing regional security and stability in the face of challenges in the region and the world. They exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual concern, aiming to advance shared interests and contribute to regional prosperity.

The high-level meeting was attended by senior officials from both countries, including Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice-President and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. The Kuwaiti delegation accompanying the Foreign Minister also participated in the discussions, reflecting the strong diplomatic relations between Kuwait and the UAE.

The UAE President and the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister discussed ways to further enhance cooperation in various areas to meet the aspirations of their peoples for development and prosperity. They highlighted the significance of supporting Gulf cooperation initiatives to address regional challenges and enhance mutual interests. The meeting aimed to contribute to the enhancement of regional security and stability in the Gulf region.

As the two countries continue to strengthen their ties and explore opportunities for collaboration, the meeting underscored the importance of advancing shared goals and interests for the benefit of the GCC countries and their people.
