The Telugu community in Bahrain recently celebrated the completion of 30 weeks of their initiative called “Swachha Bahrain” aimed at protecting the environment and seas from plastic pollution. Inspired by the Swachh Bharat campaign initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Telugu Warriors Group, along with committee members and Telugu celebrities, came together to mark this milestone. The initiative was founded by Kothapalli Rama Mohan, who expressed his gratitude towards the committee members and Captain Mahesh Meera for their dedication to the cause.

One of the key members of the initiative, Kotagiri Naveen Kumar, thanked the government of Bahrain for their support and highlighted the importance of all Telugus working together to achieve the goal of a cleaner and healthier environment. He also emphasized the need for the community to come together and contribute to relief efforts for the recent flood disaster in the two Telugu states. The event was attended by various Telugu associations and cultural groups, who all came together to congratulate the Telugu Warriors team on their efforts.

The Telugu Warriors Committee consists of dedicated members who have been working tirelessly to promote environmental sustainability in Bahrain. They have been conducting regular programs for the past 30 weeks and have received support from various organizations and individuals. The President of Telugu Desam Bahrain, Raghunadha Babu, called on all Telugu people to contribute to the relief fund for the flood disaster and encouraged community members to come together for a good cause.

Former presidents of Telugu Kala Samithi and members of the Telangana Cultural Association Bahrain have pledged their support to the Swachha Bahrain initiative. They have expressed their commitment to providing any assistance necessary to help the Telugu Warriors Committee in their efforts to protect the environment. The committee members have also extended their gratitude to those who have supported their programs and initiatives.

As part of their ongoing efforts to promote religious harmony and community cohesion, the Telugu community in Bahrain has been actively participating in Ganapati celebrations organized by various communities in the country. By coming together to celebrate and show support for different cultural and religious traditions, the Telugu community hopes to foster a sense of unity and harmony among all members. The committee members have also expressed their appreciation for those who have contributed to the success of their programs, providing essential items such as water, juice, and sweets for the recent event.

Overall, the Swachha Bahrain initiative led by the Telugu Warriors Group has achieved significant milestones in promoting environmental sustainability and community engagement in Bahrain. By bringing together various Telugu associations, cultural groups, and individuals, the initiative has not only raised awareness about the importance of protecting the environment but has also shown the power of collective action in making a positive impact. Moving forward, the Telugu community in Bahrain remains committed to their efforts and looks forward to continuing their work towards a cleaner, greener future for all.
