Sharjah Ruler gives green light to 595 scholarships for Emirati students

Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved 595 scholarships for male and female students who are residents of the Emirate of Sharjah or children of female citizens of the emirate. These scholarships were granted to students who have been accepted into various postgraduate programs and specializations at the University of Sharjah for the current semester (fall) of the academic year 2024/2025. The scholarships were divided into two batches, with 2 scholarships for diploma studies, 466 for master’s studies, and 127 for doctoral studies at the University of Sharjah.

The approval of these scholarships highlights the commitment of the Emirate of Sharjah to supporting education and empowering its citizens through higher education opportunities. This initiative will not only benefit the recipients of the scholarships but will also contribute to the overall development of the emirate by cultivating a skilled and knowledgeable workforce.
