Sayyid Theyazin Commends Youth Contributions to Nation Building

Omani youth have been commended for their dedication, thought, and contributions by His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports, and Youth. He expressed admiration for the youth on their annual day, celebrated on October 26. In his speech, Sayyid Theyazin highlighted the importance of the youth in Oman’s development, praising their accomplishments and noble deeds that bring prosperity and security to the country. The Minister expressed gratitude for the blessings of God upon the nation, recognizing the youth as the shining light of Omani society.

The Minister emphasized the role of Omani youth in the country’s development process, urging them to channel their energies into creating a society that is creative, capable, and values-driven. He called on the youth to work towards ensuring a decent life for future generations in Oman, reaffirming the government’s commitment to supporting their efforts for comprehensive development across all governorates. Sayyid Theyazin stressed the importance of knowledge, technology, and innovation as fundamental pillars of Oman’s development, along with the timeless values that are deeply rooted in Omani culture.

On Omani Youth Day, the Minister announced the government’s continued commitment to the youth by expanding the Youth Centre’s branches into several governorates, including Al Dakhiliyah, Musandam, and South Al Sharqiyah. This expansion is aimed at creating spaces and environments that embrace the aspirations of Omani youth from all corners of the nation. Sayyid Theyazin highlighted the youth’s role in representing Oman’s land, people, and civilization in the best way possible, guided by the wise vision of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.

The Minister’s speech echoed the government’s recognition of the youth as the pride of Oman, praising their positive impact and contributions to society. He encouraged the youth to continue their efforts in contributing to the country’s development and emphasized their role in shaping a better future for Oman. Sayyid Theyazin commended the youth for their role as loyal builders of Oman, describing them as the country’s flowing spring, radiant lamp, and guardians of its ancient heritage.
