The World Population Day event, held at the National Museum of Qatar in collaboration with Qatar Museums and the National Planning Council, focused on the theme “Towards a Better World.” Al Kuwari emphasized the importance of raising awareness about population-related issues and the urgent need to address these challenges within the context of comprehensive development plans. The PPC works to set the state’s population policy, monitor demographic transformations, and provide decision-makers with an objective view of the population situation. Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al Thani, Director of the National Museum of Qatar, highlighted the significance of the event as a platform to discuss global population challenges and call for sustainable solutions with the participation of government agencies, international organizations, and academia.
