Qatari aircraft arrives in Beirut with aid for the Lebanese people

The Qatari government has shown solidarity with Lebanon during their time of need by providing humanitarian aid through an air bridge operation. The aid, consisting of medicines, shelter supplies, and food, was delivered via a Qatari Amiri Air Force Aircraft to Rafic Hariri Airport in Beirut. This aid comes at a crucial time for Lebanon as they are currently facing a humanitarian crisis due to recent developments in the country.

The arrival of the aid was met by Lebanese government officials, including Minister of Environment and Chairman of the Emergency Committee HE Dr. Nasser Yassin, Minister of Economy HE Amin Salam, Advisor to the Minister of Health HE Dr. Hicham Fawaz, and Director General of the Ministry of Health in the Lebanese caretaker government HE Fadi Salam. This gesture of support from Qatar highlights the strong bond between the two countries and demonstrates Qatar’s commitment to assisting Lebanon during this difficult time.

The Qatar Fund for Development has played a key role in organizing and providing the aid for Lebanon.
