Abdulaziz bin Jassim Al-Thani, the Director-General of Traffic, led the meeting, which focused on various issues concerning the development of traffic systems in the GCC countries.

During the conference, representatives from the GCC states discussed the progress and challenges faced in the implementation of the project to enhance traffic systems in the region. The meeting provided a platform for the exchange of ideas and best practices among the traffic authorities to improve road safety and traffic management in the Gulf region.

One of the key topics addressed in the meeting was the need for collaborative efforts among GCC countries to address common traffic issues and promote interoperability of traffic systems. Moreover, the traffic authorities in the GCC states explored opportunities for collaboration with regional and international partners to enhance their capabilities in traffic management and road safety. The meeting highlighted the importance of partnerships and knowledge-sharing to keep pace with the evolving trends in traffic management and leverage innovations to address the growing challenges in the transportation sector.
