Qatar Airways, recently named the World’s Best Airline by Skytrax, has announced the launch of additional flights to key global destinations for the 2024-2025 season. These destinations include London, UK; Male, the Maldives; Miami, USA; and Tokyo, Japan. Thierry Antinori, Chief Commercial Officer of Qatar Airways, emphasized that the airline is committed to providing unforgettable travel experiences for international holiday-makers.

The airline’s increased flights to London will see a rise from 49 to 56 weekly flights starting October 27, 2024. This expansion is in response to strong demand from customers and will offer more than 42,000 seats per week each way. Along with its joint business partner, British Airways, Qatar Airways will operate a total of 10 daily flights between London Heathrow and Doha. Travellers from Australia, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and the UK can now book their flights for this popular route.

For travellers looking to visit the Maldives, Qatar Airways will increase its flights to Male from 21 to 28 weekly flights starting December 13, 2024. This will provide more options for travellers from Germany, Italy, and the UK to experience the beauty of the Maldives’ captivating islands. Additionally, starting December 16, 2024, the airline will increase its flights to Miami from 10 to 12 weekly flights, offering travellers from Miami the opportunity to book exciting trips to Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines.

Furthermore, starting February 14, 2025, Qatar Airways will increase its flights to Tokyo from seven to 11 weekly flights. Travellers from Europe and beyond can now plan enriching cultural experiences when visiting Tokyo. Qatar Airways Privilege Club members will have the opportunity to earn Avios with their flights and enjoy special discounts when paying for their tickets with Cash + Avios or Avios Max. They can also use Avios at Qatar Duty Free outlets at Hamad International Airport and purchase special Qatar Airways Holidays travel packages with Avios.

Qatar Airways is also strengthening its commitment to the UK by growing its operations to 56 flights per week. This increase reinforces the airline’s long-standing relationship with London Heathrow Airport and its strategic alliance with British Airways. With two daily flights operated by British Airways, travellers can enjoy a total of 10 daily flights between London Heathrow and Doha. This expansion aims to meet the growing demand for air travel and provide more options for international travellers seeking to explore new destinations.

In conclusion, Qatar Airways continues to prioritize customer satisfaction by offering increased flights to popular global destinations for the 2024-2025 season. With a focus on providing unforgettable travel experiences, the airline’s expansion to London, Male, Miami, and Tokyo will cater to the needs of international holiday-makers. Additionally, Qatar Airways Privilege Club members will enjoy benefits such as earning Avios, special discounts, and the opportunity to use Avios for various purchases, further enhancing the travel experience for passengers.
