Over 41,000 people attend the ‘Green Mountain Pomegranate Harvest’ event

The highly anticipated ‘Green Mountain Pomegranate Harvest’ event has kicked off in the Wilayat of Al Jabal Al Akhdar in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate. This event is part of the ‘Romana’ event and will run until September 28. Khalid bin Hamad Al Aghbari, Head of the Field Work Team at the Tourism Agricultural Development Company (Janaen), expressed his excitement about the event and noted the high turnout from visitors both locally and from neighboring countries. Since the launch of the ‘Romana’ event on July 4, there has been a total of over 41,600 visitors, with expectations of even higher numbers in the coming weeks as the pomegranate harvest season begins. This event aims to promote environmental-friendly agricultural tourism and provide unique experiences to attract tourists while enhancing local value.

The ‘Romana’ event is part of various agricultural tourism initiatives and projects in the Wilayat of Al Jabal Al Akhdar.
