The Sultanate of Oman, through its Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, is gearing up to host tourism companies from various European countries as part of an event called “Hello Europe.” With over 70 European tourism companies participating, this initiative aims to strengthen relationships and communication between Oman’s local tourism sector and its European counterparts. It also seeks to promote Oman’s tourism products, experiences, and hotel facilities, highlight key developments in the tourism sector, and explore ways to support the Ministry’s goals in further developing and promoting tourism in Oman.

Haitham bin Mohammed Al Ghassani, Director General of Tourism Promotion at the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, highlighted the significance of hosting European tourism companies. He emphasized that the event would introduce these companies to Oman’s unique tourist attractions and heritage sites, helping to promote Oman as a top travel destination. Al Ghassani also mentioned that the event presents a valuable opportunity to strengthen cooperation with European markets, attract tourists, and facilitate the exchange of experiences and knowledge between Omani and European tourism companies.

The “Hello Europe” event is a key component of the Ministry’s strategy to position Oman as a global tourist hotspot. It aims to showcase the diversity of Omani tourism offerings to the European market and establish connections with international tourism companies. The event will also provide insights into the latest developments in the Omani tourism sector and offer special promotional offers to attract more tourists.

Aside from highlighting Oman’s rich cultural and natural heritage, the event will feature various tourism experiences aimed at building connections between tourists and local communities. Interactive sessions will help identify the main needs and interests of international markets, discussions on developing tourism packages will take place, and brainstorming sessions will be held to find solutions to enhance Oman’s appeal as a tourist destination.

Visual presentations will play a crucial role in emphasizing Oman’s status as a unique tourist destination for European travelers. These presentations will showcase the facilities, services, and offers that align with the preferences and interests of European tourists, further solidifying Oman’s position as a must-visit travel destination in the region.
