The Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers (TAQEEM) has introduced a new service for vehicle damage estimation for personal purposes. This service allows individuals or companies to request a report regarding damages to their vehicles that are not a result of traffic or criminal accidents. The report is specifically for personal use and will be tailored to the owner of the vehicle. The service will be accessible through the Taqdeer application, a digital platform for evaluating minor vehicle damages. Taqdeer centers in 40 cities across the Kingdom will provide this service.

The decision to launch this new service came in response to the increasing demand for damage assessment services resulting from non-traffic accidents. The reports issued by Taqdeer centers will detail the damage caused to the vehicle due to misuse or negligence, such as scratches and damage to the interior. Additionally, the report will include an estimate of the cost to repair the damage and the prices of spare parts needed. The assessments are based on approved professional standards for evaluating vehicle damage. However, it is important to note that these reports will not be accepted for insurance or judicial financial claims, as they must be connected to traffic or criminal accidents.

TAQEEM aims to protect the rights of individuals and professionally estimate vehicle damages through the Taqdeer system. By adhering to approved professional and technical assessment standards, the authority ensures that qualified and trained staff work according to the best international practices at Taqdeer centers. Equipped with the necessary technical specifications, these centers offer the service to various types of vehicles. To access the service, individuals can visit the Taqdeer website TAQDEER.SA or visit one of the branches of Taqdeer centers across the Kingdom.

In summary, the Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers (TAQEEM) has launched a new service for vehicle damage estimation for personal purposes. This service, accessible through the Taqdeer application, allows individuals or companies to request a report detailing damages to their vehicles that are not a result of traffic or criminal accidents. The reports are specific to the owner of the vehicle and will be issued by Taqdeer centers in 40 cities across the Kingdom. While these reports are not suitable for insurance or judicial claims, they provide a professional estimate of the damage and repair costs based on approved standards. Through the Taqdeer system, TAQEEM ensures that vehicle damages are estimated professionally and that individuals receive the best service possible from qualified staff at Taqdeer centers.
