Abdulla Al Naama, the General Manager of Msheireb Museums, emphasized the importance of education in overcoming oppression and obstacles. The exhibits at Bin Jelmood House aim to shine a light on the dark chapter of slavery in history while simultaneously honoring the strength of the human spirit. Bin Jelmood House is a pioneering institution in the global museum landscape, focusing on the history of slavery in the Indian Ocean world and providing visitors with a unique opportunity to explore this often-overlooked chapter of history.
