Dr. Mohammed highlighted Oman’s emphasis on human relations and peace, with Sultan Haitham bin Tarik affirming the country’s commitment to being a beacon of peace. The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs in Oman has launched various projects aimed at enhancing dialogue between religions and cultures while promoting values of tolerance, understanding, and coexistence. The international peace meeting comes at a critical time when the world is experiencing significant challenges, requiring a shift towards unity and cohesion. The minister stressed the importance of choices made today impacting future generations, urging a renewed commitment to achieving peace.

The world is facing various challenges, including cyber campaigns destabilizing countries and spreading misinformation, as well as ideological extremism promoting discord and violence. Dr. Mohammed highlighted the need for peace to become a tangible reality, emphasizing the importance of actions, words, and a willingness to overcome divisions. He expressed hope that the meeting would pave the way for a brighter, more secure, and peaceful future, where peace is not just an exception but a fundamental rule guiding interactions between nations.

In conclusion, the International Meeting for Peace in Paris saw delegates from around the world come together to discuss the importance of peace in a time of global challenges. Dr. Mohammed Al Ma’amari reiterated Oman’s commitment to promoting peace and fostering understanding among different cultures and religions.
