The Qatari Society of Al Gannas is currently participating in the 5th World Nomad Games in Astana, Kazakhstan, with the event running until September 13. The games have attracted representatives from 88 countries, totaling more than 2,500 participants. Leading the Qatari delegation is Ali bin Khatam Al Mahshadi, president of the Society and a member of the Board of Directors of the International Federation of Popular Sports.

Ali bin Khatam Al Mahshadi has been engaging in various meetings with delegations from different countries during his time at the games. He has been sharing the experience of the Society of Al Gannas, highlighting their advanced laws for organizing tournaments, such as the Qatar International Falcons and Hunting Festival (Marmi), and their partnerships with other entities in the field. Qatari participant Bader Mubarak Al Marri has also been making his mark at the games, including the honor of raising the Qatari flag at the official opening ceremony.

Secretary of the Qatari Society of Al Gannas, Zayed Mohammed Al Ali Al Maadeed, noted that they have been receiving positive feedback from various delegations at the event.
