The Ministry of Works in Bahrain has announced road closures in various areas as part of ongoing improvement works. The resurfacing works on 16th December Highway at its junction with Muharraq Avenue in Riffa Area have necessitated the closure of some lanes inside the junction. This closure started yesterday at 11pm and will last until Sunday, August 25 at 5am. Additionally, the improvement works on Avenue 41 at the Educational Area in Isa town require the full closure of the northbound traffic between 16th December Highway and Road 4112. Traffic will be diverted to surrounding roads for three days starting tomorrow.

In another announcement, the Ministry of Works stated that the resurfacing works on Hidd Highway between Avenue 44 and Avenue 46 in Hidd Area will lead to the closure of the slow lane for westbound traffic to Arad Area. This closure will be in effect from August 25 at 11pm until August 28 at 5am. These closures are necessary to ensure the safety of drivers and pedestrians while the road improvement works are being carried out. The ministry advised motorists to follow the diversion signs and drive with caution in these areas affected by the closures.

The road closures are part of the ongoing efforts by the Ministry of Works to maintain and improve the infrastructure in Bahrain. The resurfacing works are important for ensuring the longevity and safety of the roads for all users. The ministry has coordinated with relevant authorities to implement the necessary closures and diversions to minimize disruptions to traffic flow. Drivers are advised to plan their routes accordingly and allow for extra travel time when passing through these areas during the closure period.

It is important for motorists to stay informed about road closures and diversions in order to avoid delays and inconvenience. The Ministry of Works regularly updates the public about ongoing road works and closures through official channels to keep everyone informed. By following the instructions and signage in place, drivers can navigate the affected areas safely and efficiently. The ministry appreciates the cooperation of the public during these improvement works and urges everyone to drive responsibly and adhere to traffic regulations.

In conclusion, the road closures announced by the Ministry of Works in Bahrain are necessary for carrying out important improvement works on key highways and junctions. The closures are planned to minimize disruptions to traffic flow while ensuring the safety of all road users. Motorists are advised to follow diversion signs, drive with caution, and plan their routes accordingly during the closure period. By staying informed and cooperating with the authorities, everyone can contribute to the successful completion of the road improvement projects in Bahrain.
