King Hamad and Crown Prince Hold Talks on National Development at Sakhir Palace

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa recently had a meeting with His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, at Sakhir Palace in Manama. In attendance were other members of the royal family and government officials. The discussion focused on national matters, particularly the ongoing development across various sectors in Bahrain.

During the meeting, His Majesty emphasized that Bahraini citizens will always be a top priority in any developmental plans or programmes. He commended the efforts of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister in creating opportunities for citizens and enhancing Bahrain’s regional and international standing. His Majesty also expressed gratitude for the work of ministers in serving the nation and its citizens in their respective roles.

His Majesty highlighted the unity of the Bahraini people, emphasizing their strong bonds of brotherhood, solidarity, and shared responsibility in building the foundation for the country’s prosperity. He reaffirmed Bahrain’s guiding principles of openness to all cultures, religions, and civilizations, as well as the encouragement of coexistence. His Majesty also mentioned the King Hamad Award for Peaceful Coexistence, which reflects Bahrain’s commitment to promoting global peace and mutual understanding through dialogue between civilizations.

The King reiterated Bahrain’s dedication to promoting the convergence of civilizations and cultures to achieve global peace and strengthen shared values of humanity. The award is a reflection of Bahrain’s vision of fostering peace and unity on a global scale. The country’s rich history, rooted in openness and coexistence, serves as a foundation for its commitment to promoting global peace and understanding.

Overall, the meeting between His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa highlighted the country’s focus on national development, with an emphasis on the well-being and prosperity of the Bahraini citizens.
