His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, recently met with the Minister of Interior, Chairman of the Ministerial Committee for Information and Communication Technology (MCICT), His Excellency General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, and officials from various agencies that contributed to Bahrain’s 18th place ranking in the UN E-Government Development Index. The meeting took place at Gudaibiya Palace, where HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad praised Team Bahrain’s efforts in advancing the Kingdom’s achievements in all sectors, aligning with the vision of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The 2024 report highlights Bahrain’s progress in all main and sub-indicators, ranking first globally in technology adoption index within digital services. The Kingdom has made notable advancements across all sub-indicators of digital readiness, reflecting its commitment to digital transformation. The meeting at Gudaibiya Palace was also attended by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), along with senior officials.
