The Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) in Bahrain is set to construct a state-of-the-art seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) desalination plant on Hawar Island. Known as the “New Hawar SWRO Desalination Plant,” this facility will be strategically positioned on the southeastern coast of the country. W.L.L, TECTON Engineering and Construction Branch Office, ALMOAYYED Contracting W.L.L, and China Machinery Engineering Corporation. These firms will compete to bring this critical infrastructure project to life, further demonstrating Bahrain’s dedication to improving its water supply capabilities and ensuring a secure source of clean water for its residents.
