Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs in Bahrain, recently reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to strengthening international solidarity and partnerships for humanitarian aid. This commitment is in line with Bahrain’s values and religious principles, guided by the diplomatic approach of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. On World Humanitarian Day, the Minister expressed pride in the royal vision and the government’s strategy under His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, aiming to advance humanitarian work at all levels – national, regional, and global.

He specifically praised the work of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, which is led by His Majesty the King and overseen by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The Foundation’s support for orphans, widows, and vulnerable groups, along with its 58 relief and development projects across 16 countries, including aid to Palestinians, was commended by the Minister. Additionally, Dr. Al Zayani acknowledged the initiatives of His Majesty the King at the 33rd Arab Summit, including calling for an international peace conference in the Middle East, supporting a Palestinian state, and ensuring humanitarian aid reaches those in need while safeguarding civilians and aid workers.

In line with Bahrain’s commitment to promoting human solidarity, peaceful coexistence, and multilateral cooperation on sustainable development and conflict resolution, the Minister confirmed Bahrain’s active role as an international partner. This commitment is detailed in the National Human Rights Plan (2022-2026), which outlines Bahrain’s dedication to prioritizing human rights and humanitarian aid on a global scale.

The Minister’s statements highlight Bahrain’s ongoing efforts to play a significant role in international humanitarian aid and cooperation. As a country guided by strong values and religious principles, Bahrain is dedicated to promoting peace, solidarity, and support for vulnerable groups on both a regional and global level. The acknowledgment of initiatives by His Majesty the King and the work of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation further underscore Bahrain’s commitment to advancing humanitarian efforts and supporting those in need across the world.

Bahrain’s dedication to promoting and strengthening international partnerships for humanitarian aid stems from its values and the diplomatic approach of its leadership. Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani’s reaffirmation of Bahrain’s commitment to global solidarity and cooperation for humanitarian causes illustrates the country’s proactive role in providing assistance to vulnerable communities and promoting peace and stability in the region. By actively participating in humanitarian efforts and supporting initiatives that prioritize human rights and aid for marginalized groups, Bahrain continues to showcase its leadership in promoting humanitarian values both domestically and on a global scale.

The Minister’s praise for the Royal Humanitarian Foundation’s work, as well as the acknowledgment of His Majesty the King’s initiatives at the 33rd Arab Summit, showcase Bahrain’s multifaceted approach towards humanitarian aid and peacebuilding efforts. Through its involvement in international humanitarian aid projects and its dedication to promoting human rights initiatives, Bahrain demonstrates its commitment to supporting those in need and fostering a culture of peace and cooperation on a global scale. Additionally, the Minister’s confirmation of Bahrain’s active role as an international partner in promoting human solidarity and multilateral cooperation further emphasizes the country’s dedication to advancing humanitarian efforts and fostering sustainable development and conflict resolution.
