The Ministry of Education in Oman has taken a significant step towards modernizing its school bus fleet by launching the first batch of new school buses at the Karwa Motors factory in Duqm. This initiative is aimed at replacing old vehicles and improving the overall safety and quality of the school transportation system in the country. The first batch includes the manufacturing of five buses, which are scheduled to be handed over to current bus owners during October 2024.

In addition to the manufacturing of new buses, Karwa Motors Company has also announced the launch of after-sales services in all governorates of Oman through Opal Company. This move is designed to ensure that the school buses receive regular technical support and periodic maintenance to uphold the highest global standards. By providing these services, the company is not only supporting the Ministry of Education’s efforts to modernize the school bus fleet but also strengthening their commitment to the safety and well-being of students.

The launch of these new school buses is expected to have a positive impact on the school transportation system in Oman. The replacement of old vehicles with newer models will not only improve the overall safety of school transportation but also enhance the comfort and convenience of students. With the support of after-sales services provided by Karwa Motors Company, the maintenance and upkeep of the buses are guaranteed to meet the highest global standards, ensuring the longevity and performance of the vehicles.

As the Ministry of Education continues to focus on modernizing the school transportation system, initiatives like the launch of new school buses play a crucial role in achieving this goal. By working closely with companies like Karwa Motors, the ministry is able to leverage their expertise and resources to enhance the quality and efficiency of school transportation services in Oman. The support provided by after-sales services will further contribute to the successful implementation of this initiative, ensuring that the new buses are well-maintained and operational at all times.

Overall, the launch of new school buses in Duqm marks a significant milestone in the Ministry of Education’s efforts to modernize the school transportation system in Oman. By replacing old vehicles with newer models and providing after-sales services for maintenance and support, the ministry is demonstrating its commitment to improving the safety and quality of school transportation services for students. With the continued collaboration between the ministry and companies like Karwa Motors, the school transportation system in Oman is set to become more efficient, reliable, and safe for all students.
