Abdulrahman Ahmed Alraeesi, a 28-year old Emirati from Ajman, has recently left his job to focus entirely on his unique sport of balancing cars on two wheels. His passion for this sport began in 2013, inspired by his fascination with the ‘Fast and Furious’ films and a penchant for daring stunts. Initially practicing outside the law, his dedication led him to seek legal avenues, finding opportunities to compete in sanctioned drifting events and skiing stunts across Dubai and other Gulf countries.

Alraeesi’s daring skills have earned him international recognition, with memorable experiences such as participating in an Indian film in Azerbaijan and performing in Curaçao. One unforgettable experience for him was when he was invited by the President of Curaçao to showcase his skills on a high bridge overlooking the ocean. Undeterred by the height, Alraeesi successfully balanced his SUV on two wheels for approximately 400 meters, marking his first experience at such a height. His ultimate goal now is to elevate the profile of skiing or car balancing to match the fame of drifting, with plans to establish his own company and gain support from local authorities.

Reflecting on his journey, Alraeesi noted his family’s initial opposition to his illegal stunts, but they have since become supportive. He selects cars based on client requests but favors the Toyota Land Cruiser personally. His future plans include global performances and collaborations, with one notable project involving filming with the “Fast and Furious” crew for a BMW advertisement in Liwa. He aspires to become a central figure in the world of automotive stunts, collaborating with renowned brands and filmmakers. Alraeesi’s perseverance and passion for his sport have opened doors for him to showcase his skills on international platforms and gain recognition in the industry.
