As Doha, Qatar experiences light to moderate rain showers, residents are being urged to stay vigilant and prepared for any possible power outages or water logging in certain areas. To assist residents during a sudden power outage, the Public Works Authority, also known as Ashghal, has shared their helpline number 188 for reports or inquiries during the rainy season. Additionally, residents can also reach out to Ashghal through their mobile application Ashghal 24/7 or E-services portal.

In the event of a power outage, residents are advised to contact the Call Center at 991 in Kahramaa, the Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation. By providing the necessary details such as their mobile number, ID card number, and My Address (Blue sign) data, residents can ensure that assistance is provided in the most efficient manner possible. These measures are put in place to ensure the safety and well-being of residents during adverse weather conditions.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Municipality, also known as Baladiya, is ready to receive requests for the removal of rainwater accumulation on roads and streets. Residents can contact the call center at 184 or through the Oun App or the website. This proactive approach by the Ministry of Municipality aims to address any potential issues arising from the rain and ensure the smooth flow of traffic and transportation in the city.

It is essential for residents to be aware of these helpline numbers and methods of contact in case of any emergencies during the rainy season. By staying prepared and informed, residents can ensure their safety and the safety of those around them. The collaboration between Kahramaa, Ashghal, and the Ministry of Municipality demonstrates the government’s commitment to providing assistance and support to residents during challenging weather conditions.

In conclusion, as Doha city experiences rainfall, residents are encouraged to stay vigilant and proactive in ensuring their safety and well-being. By utilizing the helpline numbers provided by Kahramaa, Ashghal, and the Ministry of Municipality, residents can report any issues or concerns promptly and receive the necessary assistance. This coordinated effort by government authorities showcases their dedication to serving the community and addressing any challenges that may arise during inclement weather conditions.
