Anthrija Prashant, a Dubai resident, recently discovered a unique promotional offer at a local restaurant that gives discounts based on the day’s temperature. Intrigued by the deal, she and her group of friends decided to take advantage of it. They dined at Kailash Parbat restaurant and received a 39% discount, which was based on the outside temperature that day. This innovative offer caught Anthrija’s attention as she had never heard of such a concept before. She made sure to verify the authenticity of the deal before visiting the restaurant, and was pleasantly surprised with the discount they received.

As summer temperatures soar in Dubai, many residents are actively seeking out seasonal offers to make the most of their dining and leisure experiences. Some establishments are coming up with creative ways to attract customers, such as offering temperature-based discounts. Restaurants like Kailash Parbath are implementing weekday discounts between 9am and 5pm to draw in more customers. Arun Keshavan, a patron of the restaurant, found the offer straightforward with no hidden terms and conditions, making it a popular choice among residents looking for good deals.

The summer months of July and August typically see a decline in business as many UAE residents travel for school breaks. To combat this lull, businesses are offering special discounts and promotions to entice customers. Expats like Maya C. have benefited from such offers, including a neighbourhood salon in JVC that provides temperature-based discounts. By simply showing a screenshot of the salon’s Instagram story displaying the day’s temperature, customers can avail significant discounts on their services. This has led to an increase in foot traffic at the salon, with women coming from various locations to take advantage of the offer.

In addition to temperature-based discounts, several brands are rolling out various summer deals to attract customers. From flash sales to bundle offers, these promotions provide excellent value to residents and allow them to explore new experiences at a discounted price. Mehnaz Ilyas, another Dubai resident, took advantage of a summer staycation offer in Abu Dhabi, where they received free park entry by booking a stay at a hotel on Yas Island. The family enjoyed their time at the Sea World exhibit, taking in attractions like roller coasters and penguin exhibits, making it a memorable experience at an affordable cost.

As businesses continue to adapt to the changing consumer landscape, innovative promotions like temperature-based discounts are gaining popularity among Dubai residents. These unique offers not only provide value for customers but also help establishments attract a diverse clientele. With the summer season in full swing, residents are on the lookout for exciting deals and promotions to make the most of their leisure activities. Whether it’s dining out at a discounted rate or enjoying a staycation package, Dubai’s summer offers present a plethora of opportunities for residents to explore and enjoy the city’s offerings at a fraction of the cost.
