In Dubai, people of determination have access to a variety of benefits and features aimed at making their lives easier. One such initiative is the Sanad card, which can be obtained for free by citizens, residents, and tourists in Dubai upon demonstrating proof of disability. To apply for the Sanad card, individuals can visit the Community Development Authority’s website, application, or customer happiness center.

The Sanad card offers a range of benefits such as free parking in Dubai, exemption from Salik fees, discounts in hospitals, and on monthly phone plans. Citizens holding a Dubai passport fall under Category A and can receive the Sanad card for a period of 5 years by submitting various documents including an electronic copy of Emirates ID, passport, family book, medical report, and proof of disability. Holders of decrees fall under Category B and must submit similar documents to obtain the Sanad card for 5 years.

Citizens holding passports from other Emirates fall under Category C and can also avail the Sanad card for 5 years by submitting required documents. Expatriate residents in Dubai fall under Category D and must provide documents such as Emirates ID, passport, residence permit, medical report, and proof of disability to receive the Sanad card. Tourists, falling under Category E, can also apply for the Sanad card for the duration of their visit by submitting relevant documents.

The application process involves registering a service request, document verification, approval notification via email or text message, and referral to the Medical Committee in case of a medical report as proof of disability. If a People of Determination card issued by the CDA is submitted, the application will be approved, and the Sanad card will be issued. It is important to note that additional documents may be requested by the CDA to complete the application, and receipt of the application does not guarantee the service.

Overall, the Sanad card in Dubai offers a range of benefits to people of determination, making their daily lives more accessible and convenient. By following the application process outlined by the Community Development Authority, individuals can easily obtain the Sanad card and enjoy the various advantages it provides. Whether a citizen, resident, or tourist, the Sanad card ensures that individuals with disabilities have access to essential services and privileges in Dubai.
