Doha Forum and the International Peace Institute sign a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on content development

The Doha Forum and the International Peace Institute have recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate on addressing global governance issues and shaping the agenda of the Doha Forum’s annual flagship event. Scheduled to take place from December 7-8, under the theme “The Innovation Imperative,” the partnership will allow the Institute to join the Doha Forum’s network of partners, which includes world-class research centers across the globe.

The MoU was signed by the Forum’s General Manager Maha Al Kuwari and the President of the International Peace Institute, HH Prince Zeid bin Ra’ad Al Hussein. Al Kuwari expressed excitement about the partnership, noting that the Doha Forum plays a vital role in global discussions each year in December. With a growing presence and partnerships worldwide, the Forum is looking forward to working with the International Peace Institute to advance dialogues on critical global issues.

HH Prince Zeid bin Ra’ad Al Hussein emphasized the shared goals of the Doha Forum and the International Peace Institute, highlighting their focus on promoting dialogue and fostering innovation to address global challenges. He expressed gratitude for the partnership, noting that joint activities and events will be organized, including an event on the sidelines of the opening of the United Nations General Assembly in 2024. This event will share key ideas from the Doha Forum with the international relations community in New York, paving the way for practical discussions during the Forum in December.

The collaboration between the Doha Forum and the International Peace Institute is expected to enhance the objectives of both organizations by facilitating meaningful dialogue and innovative solutions to global challenges. Together, they aim to inspire change and address pressing issues that affect people worldwide. By joining forces, they hope to make a meaningful impact on the global stage and contribute to shaping a more peaceful and prosperous future for all.

Through this partnership, the Doha Forum and the International Peace Institute will leverage their respective expertise and networks to generate new ideas and solutions for pressing global issues. By working together, they can amplify their impact and reach a wider audience with their messages.
