Doha Forum and International Peace Institute sign memorandum of understanding to collaborate on content development.

The Doha Forum and the International Peace Institute have recently joined forces by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate on addressing global governance issues and shaping the agenda for the Doha Forum’s annual flagship event. The event, scheduled for December 7-8, will be held under the theme “The Innovation Imperative.” This partnership expands the Doha Forum’s network of partners to include the Institute and various research centers across the globe.

The MoU was signed by Maha Al Kuwari, General Manager of the Doha Forum, and HH Prince Zeid bin Ra’ad Al Hussein, President of the International Peace Institute. Al Kuwari expressed excitement about working with the Institute to enhance the critical dialogue that the Forum engages in annually. She mentioned the Forum’s increasing presence and partnerships worldwide as reasons for their collaboration with the International Peace Institute.

HH Prince Zeid bin Ra’ad Al Hussein also highlighted the shared goals of the Doha Forum and the International Peace Institute, which focus on promoting dialogue and fostering innovation to tackle global challenges. He expressed gratitude for the partnership and shared plans to organize joint activities and events, including an event at the opening of the United Nations General Assembly in 2024. This event will present key ideas from the Doha Forum to the international relations community in New York.

The collaboration between the Doha Forum and the International Peace Institute aims to advance discussions on pressing global issues and inspire innovative solutions. The partnership signals a commitment to promoting dialogue and cooperation among diverse stakeholders to address the interconnected challenges facing the world today.
