The Protection and Social Rehabilitation Centre (Aman) in Doha, Qatar, is currently running an awareness campaign at Doha Festival City from now until September 14. Their goal is to educate the public on the services they provide to combat violence and family breakdown, with a focus on women, children, and victims of violence. Executive Director Dr. Nasser bin Ahmed Al-Thani emphasized the importance of raising awareness about Aman Center’s services and their role in enhancing social protection and rehabilitation.

Aman Center’s awareness campaigns are crucial for reaching women, children, and victims of family violence. They aim to address issues of violence and family breakdown to promote social development. According to Al Ali, it is essential for these campaigns to be diverse to maximize their impact and reach a wider audience. Through community partnerships with various sectors, Aman Center can better achieve their vision and mission of tackling violence and strengthening family cohesion.

The collaboration between Aman Center and the Akhlaquna Initiative, spearheaded by HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, highlights the connection between education and morals. Ethics are considered the foundation of success in all aspects of life, and the awareness campaign will focus on promoting core values such as mercy, tolerance, honesty, generosity, humility, justice, and equality. By educating children and the public on these values, Aman Center hopes to reinforce family cohesion and instill positive virtues in the community.

The interactive segment at Aman Center’s booth at Doha Festival City will engage children and the public in learning about the comprehensive morals espoused by Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him). This includes teachings on mercy, tolerance, and justice, among others. By disseminating these values, Aman Center aims to promote a culture of respect, understanding, and harmony within families and society as a whole. Shopping malls serve as a strategic location for these campaigns, as they offer high visibility and attract a diverse audience.

In conclusion, the collaboration with various state sectors and initiatives like the Akhlaquna Initiative plays a key role in Aman Center’s efforts to combat violence and promote family cohesion. By raising awareness and promoting ethical values, Aman Center aims to create a more harmonious and understanding community. The ongoing awareness campaign at Doha Festival City serves as a platform for educating the public, especially children, on the importance of morality, tolerance, and social responsibility. Through these initiatives, Aman Center continues to make a significant impact in Qatar’s efforts towards social development and welfare.
