In a thrilling match at the Khalifa International Stadium, reigning champions Al Sadd secured their first victory of the Ooredoo Stars League season with an impressive 5-1 win over Qatar SC. The match saw an exciting second-half performance from Al Sadd, who were initially leveled at 1-1 with Qatar SC at half-time. However, goals from Mohammed Waad, Boualem Khoukhi, Rafa Mujica, and an own-goal by Moattaz Bostami sealed the victory for the Wolves.

The match at Al Thumama Stadium saw Al Arabi and Al Wakrah share points after a 1-1 draw, with goals from Omar Al Somah and Lucas Mendes. Both teams were unable to secure a win for the second consecutive match. In other upcoming matches, Al Khor will face Al Shahania at Al Bayt Stadium, with both teams aiming for their first win of the season after goalless draws in their previous matches. Meanwhile, Al Gharafa will take on Al Ahli at the Al Thumama Stadium, with coach Pedro Martins expressing confidence in his team following a hard-fought victory in the AFC Champions League play-off.

After a disappointing start to the season with a loss to Al Shamal, Al Sadd came back strong against Qatar SC, showcasing a different side in the second half and converting their chances effectively. Coach Felix Sanchez expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance, crediting the fans for their support. The victory not only marked the team’s first win of the season but also served as a morale boost for the players.

In the match between Al Arabi and Al Wakrah, both teams were unable to secure a win for the second consecutive match, ending in a 1-1 draw. Al Arabi’s Omar Al Somah and Al Wakrah’s Lucas Mendes scored crucial goals for their respective teams, highlighting the competitive nature of the Ooredoo Stars League. The draw reflected the closely contested matches seen in the league this season.

Looking ahead to upcoming matches, Al Khor and Al Shahania will face off at Al Bayt Stadium, with both teams eager to secure their first win of the season. After goalless draws in their previous matches, both sides will be looking to put their best foot forward and claim valuable points in the league standings. The match promises to be an exciting clash as both teams look to kickstart their campaign on a positive note.

In the second match of the day, Al Gharafa will take on Al Ahli at the Al Thumama Stadium, with coach Pedro Martins expressing confidence in his team’s preparedness.
