Al Khater Meets Turkey’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs

Minister of State for International Cooperation HE Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater of Qatar recently met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, HE Turkiye Berris Ekinci, via video conference. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss cooperation relations and ways to further support and enhance them, especially in developmental and humanitarian fields. The two officials also talked about joint coordination efforts to address the Rohingya Muslim crisis, as well as the latest regional developments in Gaza and Lebanon.

Both parties expressed their desire to hold a strategic dialogue between Qatar and Turkey at the end of the year.
