It also aims to educate future generations about the importance of these institutions and their contributions to the country’s cultural and economic development.

This exhibition is a unique opportunity for 11 licensed museums from various governorates in Oman to showcase their cultural treasures. Some of the featured museums include Bait Al Zubair Museum, Bidiya Museum, Bait Al Ghasham Museum, Madha Museum, Gateway of the Past Museum, Nizwa Museum, Sharaf House, Generations Continuity Museum, Bait Adam Museum, Bait Al Minzifa Museum, and Al Hamra Currency Museum. Through visual presentations, the public will learn about the workings of museums, private heritage houses, and the management of cultural artifacts. It also aims to foster a sense of pride and appreciation among the local community for Oman’s cultural heritage and identity.

The exhibition will offer visitors a unique opportunity to explore and learn about the rich history and heritage of Oman through interactive displays, artifacts, and educational presentations. Attendees will gain insights into the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage, as well as the importance of maintaining and safeguarding cultural artifacts for future generations. By engaging with the exhibitions and activities planned during the event, visitors will be able to deepen their understanding and appreciation of Oman’s diverse cultural heritage, contributing to the preservation and promotion of the country’s identity and legacy.

Through the organization of this exhibition, the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism aims to promote cultural awareness, education, and preservation, as well as to support the growth and development of museums and private heritage houses in Oman.
