Saudi Arabia and China to strengthen collaboration

The fourth session of the High-Level Saudi-Chinese Joint Committee was co-chaired by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and visiting Chinese Premier Li Qiang in Riyadh. The meeting focused on discussing joint cooperation between the two countries in various areas such as political and security coordination, trade opportunities, energy, investment, culture, and technology. Both sides also addressed the latest regional and international developments and talked about their efforts to address them. The Crown Prince and Li Qiang signed the minutes of the meeting, highlighting the commitment of both countries to strengthening their relationship.

During the official reception ceremony held for Li Qiang at the Royal Court, the Saudi Royal Anthem and the Chinese National Anthem were played. The Crown Prince warmly welcomed Li and his delegation, expressing his wishes for a pleasant stay. In return, the Chinese premier expressed his gratitude for the hospitality extended to him. An official luncheon banquet was hosted by the Crown Prince in honor of Li Qiang, with various Saudi officials in attendance, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Investment. This gesture highlighted the importance of the visit and the strong ties between Saudi Arabia and China.

The meeting was attended by high-level officials from both countries, including ministers and ambassadors. The Chinese delegation included officials from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Commerce, Equipment Development Department of the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Saudi side was represented by key figures such as the Minister of Culture, Minister of Finance, and Minister of Tourism. The presence of these officials underscored the significance of the discussions and the commitment of both countries to enhancing their partnership.

The joint committee meeting emphasized the importance of collaboration between Saudi Arabia and China in various fields, reflecting the shared interests and mutual goals of both countries. The discussions on political and security coordination, trade opportunities, energy, investment, culture, and technology underscored the breadth and depth of the bilateral relationship. The commitment of both countries to addressing regional and international developments together highlighted their shared commitment to stability and cooperation. The signing of the meeting minutes symbolized the ongoing collaboration and partnership between Saudi Arabia and China.
