WCM-Q recognizes 67 high-achieving students

Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar recently hosted a ceremony to recognize 60 pre-medical students who made it to the Dean’s Honor List for the 2023-2024 Academic Year. Additionally, seven Foundation Program students received the Achievement Award for their exceptional performance. These students achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher during the Fall or Spring Semester, with thirty-four students earning a spot on the list in both semesters. The event was attended by faculty, students, alumni, and family members.

Dr. Javaid Sheikh, Dean of WCM-Q, commended the students for their remarkable achievements and dedication to excellence. He noted that being on the Dean’s Honor List is not an easy feat and praised the students for their hard work and perseverance. The Dean encouraged the students to continue striving for excellence and maintain their outstanding grades throughout their academic journey.
