The Sharjah Rain Room is a unique experience that allows visitors to walk through a downpour without getting wet. Supported by the Sharjah Art Foundation, the installation uses high-end technology with trigger sensors that pause the water from falling when it detects motion. The rain room uses 2,500 liters of self-cleaning recycled water, creating an immersive and interactive experience for all visitors. If you enjoy the rain but don’t want to get wet, this is the perfect place to visit.

The Sharjah Rain Room is open from 9am to 9pm from Saturday to Thursday and operates from 4pm to 10pm on Fridays. The price of tickets varies for adults, children, students, and teachers. Entry for people of determination (PoD) and one companion is free. Discounted tickets are available for group visits, and tickets can be purchased online through the official website of the Sharjah Art Foundation. Make sure to arrive at least 10 minutes before your booked time slot, as each slot lasts for 10-15 minutes.

Before visiting the Rain Room, there are a few things to remember. Only seven people are allowed to enter the installation at one time, and visitors should avoid wearing shoes with pointed high heels. Food and beverages are not permitted inside the installation, and umbrellas or rain gear are not allowed. Children must be supervised by parents or a guardian at all times, and professional photography is prohibited without prior permission from the Sharjah Art Foundation.

Located 10km from Sahara Centre in Sharjah, the venue is easily accessible and takes about 15-20 minutes to reach by car. If you wish to avoid the rush, it is recommended to book your tickets online in advance to secure your preferred time slot. With a variety of ticket options available, including free entry for people of determination, the Sharjah Rain Room offers a unique and enjoyable experience for residents and tourists alike. So, if you’re looking for a fun and interactive way to enjoy the rain without getting wet, be sure to visit the Sharjah Rain Room for a one-of-a-kind experience.
