The 3rd Global AI Summit is set to take place in Riyadh, showcasing the latest advancements in artificial intelligence technologies. With over 300 speakers and specialists from 100 countries participating, the summit aims to highlight the Kingdom’s ambition to become a global leader in AI. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will patronize the event, which will be held at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center from September 10 to 12. The summit will provide a platform for interaction with leading data scientists and AI researchers, offering insights into cutting-edge developments and how AI can support the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.

The summit will bring together specialists in AI technologies, policy makers, and heads of technology companies to discuss ideas and visions that govern the uses of AI technologies. The goal is to accelerate development in various fields and contribute to building a better present and future for generations to come. This aligns with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, to establish the Kingdom as a global technology hub for advanced AI technologies. International figures in the field of data and artificial intelligence, including CEOs and top executives, will be in attendance at the summit to share their expertise and insights.

The event will feature the signing of local and international agreements, as well as the launch of initiatives aimed at serving countries worldwide in the field of data technologies and artificial intelligence. The Kingdom’s aspiration to be a global model in AI and leverage its capabilities to adopt the latest trends and innovations in the field will be at the forefront of discussions. The summit will also host ministers, heads of international organizations, CEOs of major tech companies, and leading scientists in the field of AI, enriching the dialogue on the future of AI and its impact on humanity.

With over 120 dialogue sessions and workshops planned, the summit will delve into various topics related to AI, including industry trends, the relationship between human intelligence and AI, generative AI, and the ethics of AI. Speakers will explore the integration of data and applications, processors and infrastructure specific to AI, and the impact of AI on the growth of smart cities. The goal is to foster international cooperation and explore how AI can be effectively utilized in different sectors to drive innovation and progress.

The 3rd edition of the Global AI Summit builds on the successes of the previous editions in 2020 and 2022, which led to the launch of international projects and initiatives that enhanced cooperation on AI. The establishment of the International Center for Research and Ethics of Artificial Intelligence was one of the outcomes of these summits, highlighting the Kingdom’s commitment to responsible AI development. The summit represents a pivotal moment in the Kingdom’s technological development, supporting the goals of Vision 2030 to build a knowledge- and technology-based economy.
